Remark: Written in ink on the reverse of this photograph is "Fire Co of Valparaiso Ind." The horses are headed southbound on Franklin Street. Located on the southwest corner of Jefferson Street and Franklin Street is the First Presbyterian Church, which is seen here. It was constructed in 1881 and later razed to create a parking lot.
